as a straight man, i was married twice at one time and was a very caring and loving husband that never cheated on them. and sure enough, they both cheated on me. i feel that i was just to good for them in the first place. many women that are married , just seem to want more out of life. they never can be satisfied,why is that? i was very committed at the time, and never mistreated them at all. my second ex wife has an autistic girl, which i raised her very well. i felt very good at the time, because i was a father. now that i am single and alone again, it makes me feel very hurt. i will go out every single night just not to be home by myself anymore, and hope that i will be at the right place at the right time to meet a good woman for me again. men like me hate to be alone, and i will admit we are the much weaker sex when it comes to this. the women are usually the much stronger sex when it comes to being alone. i want so much to meet the right woman, and for me it would be like winning the lottery.

I know what you mean because Im in the same boat myself. When I see woman I like I approach them to get to know them better and when i do this they think Im a creep. They’ll roll their eyes at me and walk away. It Sucks!! I guess men like me are not meant for love. And it hurts

i consider myself an average good looking straight man and meeting women for me has become very hard today. these women play very hard to get and i am not into the games they play. i seem to meet all the nasty ones out there. i know other men that have the same problem as well. there are a lot more lesbians now than ever before which adds to the problem. where are the straight normal women for good straight men like me today?

I know exactly what you mean. My friends do not understand. They keep saying that I should just be patient and that the guys I dated were not meant for me anyway. The thing is, I do not think it is about the guys. I think the fault lies on me. I do not know if there is a gene that I am missing that makes me unable to be in a long term relationship.
I just do not want to be the person who is supposed to be single in their lifetime. I know it probably will not be that bad. There are a lot of people who live life content on not being with somebody. My problem is I have been in love and I LOVE the feeling. How could I be content like all these other people who are single when I know what I am missing.

Sometimes I think it might be hopeless….I am not sure exactly what it is I’m doing wrong here. Every guy runs for a different reason. Even the ones who are completely in love with me? I feel so hopeless and worthless. I feel like giving up on it all together but my heart won’t let me. I am not sure if it’s just the guys I’m dating or something about me that makes them run…..I wish I knew the real answer I feel like maybe God forgot about me when he was making soul mates

I always believe if the right man will come to my life one day, honestly I never push my self to get a man, I just make good relationship to every man who comes to my life, whether as a friend or prospective lover.
Love comes unexpectedly, when I met my spouse, I was in love with another man but unfortunately this man didn’t have the same feeling at me lol. I didn’t realize if the other man (my spouse) interested at me, because I just considered him like a friend.
But after I knew his personality deeper, I just realize if he is the right man for me. Sometime we are looking too far, actually he is already around us, so just open your heart and you will find him

I am 61, a little on the heavy side and divorcd twice. In fact, every relationship I have ever been in has been ill-fated. I now feel like a ghost when it comes to men. I am not even seen anymore like I was when I was younger,and slimmer.
Men my age tend to want younger women and the older ones tend to want someone to take care of them. Both my previous husbands were ten years older than I. While I want a healthy relationship, I am not sure I would know one if came up to me and kiss me. I need some time to learn about me and what I need/want from life – to learn to love who I am – to get healthy again.
My friends want me to have a relationship, but they are not exactly lining up at my door. I feel conflicted about all this stuff. How to straighten it out in my head?

Beliefs are so important in finding a new partner. Having faith is very important, if a person doesn’t beleive he will find a great partner it’s the first and biggest obstacle.
