If so, or even if not, i think that if he really loved you he would have seen (and hopefully heard) your struggles with bills, etc. he would have wanted to share his "wealth" and wanted to make sure you had some "toys" that you wanted. He sounds like he was selfish and not that into you. Loving someone is wanting the best for them, wanting them to be happy. Were you living together and sharing bills?
